Getty Images的法律总顾问Yoko Miyashita表示，“我方网站代表着超过20万人来自世界各地的摄影师、内容创作者和艺术家的利益，他们需要依靠自己的作品谋生，谷歌的这一做法影响了世界各地艺术家当前和未来的生活”。在接受TIME采访时，Miyashita补充道，“谷歌需要回归搜索引擎的搜索功能，而不是版权方的替代品”。该公司同时还发起了请愿活动，并鼓励媒体人和摄影师的积极参与。
