在收购交易中,富士康出资了35亿美元,获得了夏普三分之二的股权。日本媒体认为富士康利用了夏普所处的困境,占到了一个“大便宜”,最终收购价远低于最早的出价。未来,夏普仍将保持独立运营地位。

日经新闻指出,夏普新的1000人裁员举措,可能是管理层面对糟糕的业绩不得已而为之,即并非由富士康或者郭台铭下令进行裁员。

2012年,夏普在液晶面板领域的投资出现失误,公司几乎破产,当年夏普推出了自愿提前退休计划,减少了3000名员工,去年由于业绩继续糟糕,夏普再一次裁减了3200人。

截至三月底上一财年结束,夏普以及子公司在日本雇佣的人数为将近两万人,只有四年前三分之二的规模,其中夏普直属的员工人数为1.5万人。

据日经新闻报道,夏普仍然在考虑这一轮裁员的具体规模、政策等。过去的裁员主要是根据员工的工作时间,而这一次,夏普可能会考虑减少业绩不佳工厂的员工人数,因此受影响比较大的可能是太阳能业务和储能电池业务的员工。

在刚刚过去的这一财年,夏普曾经预期能够实现利润,但是根据修改后的预期,夏普可能面临15亿美元的巨额亏损。

无论是新东家富士康,以及现在的管理层,都已经看到需要尽早对夏普的业务进行重组,迅速填补亏损无底洞。

夏普最重要的业务(也是郭台铭最为看重的资产)是液晶面板业务,不过由于苹果手机销售疲软等原因,液晶屏幕在萎缩。即使是归属富士康之后,夏普的液晶业务短期之内很难获得改观。

更糟糕的是,最近媒体报道苹果已经和三星电子签署了协议,购买一亿块OLED屏幕,用于明年推出的新手机。在显示面板行业从液晶面向OLED转型的过程中,夏普出现了落后。据悉,夏普已经掌握了一些OLED技术,但是并不具备大规模量产的能力。

夏普的太阳能业务表现一直不佳。二月份,郭台铭就已经表示,如果收购夏普成功,有可能剥离掉长期亏损的太阳能业务。

夏普另外一个境况不佳的业务是家用电器,据悉富士康不会放弃这一业务,有可能把制造业务转移到中国内地,以降低成本,提升和中国家电企业之间的竞争力。

伴随着被富士康收购,未来可能出现更多的人员缩减。不过日本媒体也指出,夏普需要注意人才流失问题。目前已经有一些液晶面板业务的夏普人才,投向了竞争对手。

另外,虽然富士康名义上已经是夏普的新东家,不过富士康的收购资金到账最后截止日期是今年的10月5日,因此富士康目前还难以立刻涉足到夏普的日常管理决策中。
