华硕对标苹果和微软
主场作战的华硕引来了众多关注的目光，新发布的Zenbook 3笔记本开始凭借酷睿i7处理器、1TB PCIe固态硬盘等众多配置对标苹果Macbook Air，与此同时，这款新产品在尺寸、厚度、续航等方面，不仅不逊于对手，甚至开始出现了甩开苹果的迹象。
另外，华硕还在发布会上推出了对标微软Surface Pro 4的混合型平板设备Asus Transformer 3 Pro平板电脑，尽管这款产品被外界调侃为最能“假装”Surface Pro 4的产品，但众多的周边配件，还是可以看出华硕在这方面超越对手的努力，尤其是率先为变形本引入了配备GTX1080显卡的VR虚拟现实底座。
英特尔彻底被高通掀翻
由于主题是电脑展，手机厂商并没有过度的参与到展会当中，这也让今年的台北电脑展几乎又成了华硕的独角戏。
今天的发布会上，华硕接连发布了3款Zenfone 3系列智能手机，尽管节奏还是和以前一样，被认为是“发布一次管够一年”，但相比过去仍然还是有明显的变化，这其中最亮眼的当属弃用英特尔，全线投入高通阵营。
高通一统天下的时代已经来了，而这也意味着，英特尔将要面临彻底被赶出移动手持设备市场的尴尬局面。
VR的较量在展前就已经开启了
VR虚拟现实可以说是台北电脑展的新元素，但这也有可能成为未来几年内，包括台北电脑展在内的众多大型展会不可或缺的主题。
尽管VR在台北电脑展上出现是可以确定的事实，但实际围绕VR的明争暗斗在展会之前就已经拉开序幕，最具典型的就是英伟达提前卡位，在5月上旬发布Pascal架构的GTX 1080/1070显卡，而AMD则是在澳门的Tech Day上，闭门解读了Polaris架构的RX480/470/460的特性。
毫无疑问，这些新产品和新方案都会在今年的展会上出现，VR-Ready对PC行业的厂商来说，基本就是抢占接下来市场份额的起跑线，而出现这样的现象，也是基于PC级VR虚拟现实产品，将快要“被死亡”的PC行业，带到了新的春天。
PC周边和配件厂商少不了
尽管展会的主基调是PC设备，也尽管PC厂商们都把目光对准了VR市场，但PC生态中的周边厂商，也是构成今年台北电脑展的重要组成部分。
从展会现场获悉的情况来看，包括芝奇、威刚、十铨、创见、技嘉、华擎等在内的厂商，基本都已经布好了展馆，不过由于相对垂直，更多的是面向DIY的用户的特点，可能没有大厂的品牌吸引人，但可以确认的是，这些厂商也会通过各种各样的现场活动来吸引人气。
周边产品方面，类似于PhotoFast推出的记忆类存储产品，比如手机优盘等，也会在展会上粉墨登场。
别忘了微软、高通和英特尔
虽然英特尔在移动手持设备市场不太顺心，然而桌面市场仍然会有大展拳脚的空间，此前有消息称，英特尔有望在今年的展会上，更新LGA 2011平台，推出Broadwell-处理器。
