警方提醒，公民需增强个人信息安全意识，不要轻易将个人信息提供给无关人员。此外，对于网上提交个人信息的尽量简单，并将网络账户的密码设置得复杂一些，且尽量不同账号不同密码。

目前，该团伙6名成员全部归案。经核查，该团伙一共对440多个苹果ID申请退款，退款总额达18多万元。
