7月12日消息，近段时间以来，武汉因为强降雨遭受严重洪涝灾害，致使武汉全市100多万人受灾，数万人被迫迁移，造成经济损失高达130亿元。对此，小米与苹果已于日前分别向灾区捐赠55万元和700万元用于灾区救援物资和建设。
今天，联想集团宣布将向武汉市红十字会捐赠200万元物资，支持当地灾后建设。联想表示将捐赠应急救灾物资、电脑及相关设施。其中，救灾物资以食品和医药为主，考虑到武汉市周边部分中小学校的信息化设备也在洪灾中受损，教学正常开展将受到影响，联想将捐赠电脑及相关设施。这也是继今年二月公司宣布向台湾灾区捐赠1000万新台币以来，联想再一次为灾区提供援助。
据了解，联想在武汉设有手机生产基地，也曾因受到暴雨影响发生断电，经过全力抢修，目前供电已经恢复。
