在7月的新品发布会上,工行相关负责人认为,根据国外二维码市场发展来看,二维码对于布局O2O具有重要意义,从支付的流畅性及推广角度而言,要远胜于此前市场正在推行的NFC支付,技术上也比目前部分机构正在尝试的声波支付、蓝牙支付、光子支付、指纹支付、虹膜支付等技术更加成熟。

不过,据比达咨询发布的《2015年度中国第三方移动支付市场研究报告》,在2015年第三方移动支付交易规模市场份额中,支付宝以72.9%的份额居首,财付通(微信+手Q)以17.4%位居第二。二维码支付已经占据了90%以上的市场份额。

在银行的电子支付业务中,移动支付业务占比并不高。根据中国中央银行发布的《2016年一季度支付体系运行总体情况》显示,第一季度,银行业金融机构共处理电子支付金额793.97万亿元。其中移动支付业务56.15亿笔,金额52.13万亿元。
