不仅如此,芷妹还发现,与今日头条同一开发商的20款应用(包括内涵段子、笑多了会怀孕、精彩语录、创意家居等)都在苹果商店里突然失踪。

目前,苹果公司方面未给出任何回应,有苹果内部人士对外表示:无可奉告——一如苹果审核团队以往“不面对外界,也不对外界解释”的作风。

这就像今日头条家族20位小伙伴被苹果突然踢出群,然后...

根据早前国内某数据研究公司统计,2016上半年,今日头条月活跃用户量达9637万,是仅次于腾讯新闻(月活跃用户1.74亿)的行业“老二”。但对拥有如此海量的用户的头条,网友中对这次下架事件“叫好”的竟不占少数:

2、头条low?还是读者low?

苹果下架应用不是什么新鲜事儿了,今日头条被喷也不是一两天了。对头条的诟病一直以来都无非是“抄袭、色情、广告、标题党”,总而言之一个字:low。

但头条独特的个性化推荐机制(即基于大数据算法,根据读者的阅读数据判断其喜好,从而实现有区别的推送)往往让其拥护者和水军们有个屡试不爽的借口:不是头条low,是你自己low。

这TM就是就是我的喜好?果断点开视频...不对,果断卸载了。

3、低俗内容与任性读者的怪圈

那么问题来了,为什么如此low的头条,还有这么多人看?

芷妹认为,一方面,头条中充斥着大量性暗示、娱乐甚至暴力(骂人其实是语言暴力)、谣言等内容满足了人们原始的欲望;另一方面,这也离不开读者群体年轻化和大众化(而非精英化)的趋势。

而年轻和大众往往意味着任性。

任性的人在做决策时,会更多地考虑“个人感受”,而不是他人感受或是道德、法律,他们的口头禅往往是“我喜欢”、“我乐意”、“不要压抑自己的天性”、“拒绝道德绑架”,他们更喜欢“享乐”,而非“自律”。

当然任性的人没有错,但在阅读内容的选择上,“任性”并不是件好事儿,它会让人由着性子去选择那些更加没营养但是够刺激的内容,以满足人原始的直接的欲望。

就像吃薯片,追求口感,却没营养。

于是,一个恶性循环就形成了:读者看今日头条→被其中低俗的内容吸引→读者阅读,头条记录了读者的阅读喜好→头条推荐更多的低俗内容→读者更加沉浸其中...

对于读者而言,由于任性,绝大多数读者无法逃离这种怪圈,毕竟对他们来说,享受当下的刺激当然比什么提高个人素质、什么做个四有青年这种遥不可及的目标更有诱惑力。

对于内容生产者而言,高品质的内容无人问津,于是优秀的媒体纷纷放弃头条号,转战其他新媒体平台,而那些《女人站着尿尿需要理由吗?》的发布者们,尝到了甜头,闻到了铜臭,更加钟爱头条,也愈发无下限...

对于头条而言,低俗的内容目前大有市场——毕竟任性的大有人在,这意味着流量和广告收入。因此出于商业利益考量,头条对于这些内容睁一只眼闭一只眼。

4、媒介塑造人,头条塑造low B?

其实,今日头条低俗内容背后的难题,是“低品质内容带来流量的高速增长”与“高品质内容塑造品牌的进程缓慢”二者之间的矛盾,前者迫于现实,后者基于理想,无奈理想很丰满,现实很骨感。

传播大师麦克卢汉说:“我们塑造了工具,最后工具又反过来塑造我们”,意思是媒介总在潜移默化之中塑造人。而目前坐拥近亿用户的今日头条,对读者的责任更是不言而喻。

若不解决这个矛盾,未来,今日头条或许不是塑造人,而是塑造low B。
