据悉，库克8月24日晚将与苹果公司环境、政策与社会倡议副总裁丽莎·杰克逊(Lisa Jackson)一同主持活动，为“希拉里胜利基金”(Hillary Victory Fund)筹款。

需要指出的是，库克此次同样是以普通公民的身份来主持筹款活动。苹果公司内部并没有设立政治行动委员会，也不以公司的身份向民主和共和两党的任何一方候选人进行捐款。
