据道琼斯消息，在已出货或者到达消费者手中的大约250万部Galaxy Note 7手机中，有70%电池为由子公司三星SDI(Samsung SDI Co.)供应，剩下的部分则采用了ATL的电池。据外媒报道称，作为召回计划中的一环，三星准备替换召回Note 7中的所有三星SDI电池。反之，三星Note 7的中国大陆用户因使用的ATL的电池而不在召回范围内。

但中国有1858部Note 7待回收

国家质检总局在网站上称，部分召回的Galaxy Note 7是于9月1日发售之前通过三星官网在中国销售的手机，属于三星测试计划的一部分。
