印度智能手机市场在最近几年增长迅速，由于经济发展水平的关系，二手机市场也十分火爆，上述这些电商纷纷进翻新机的销售。不过印度每年要产生近180万吨的电子垃圾，为保护环境，印度今年3月份修订了环境保护法，该法律禁止国外翻新手机在本地的出售，5月份苹果曾试图与印度就二手机销售一事达成协议，最后由于法律的关系只能作罢。

亚马逊等电商在当地从事翻新机的销售已经违反相关规定，印度环境部近日发出通知，要求电商网站对此做出解释，否则就要开罚。不过印度民众以后想要用到价格较低廉的翻新机就比较困难了。
