据悉这些机器人被安装在富士康位于郑州的制造基地、位于成都的一家平板电脑生产工厂，以及位于昆山和嘉善的计算机/外设制造工厂。

戴嘉鹏称，目前富士康每年生产1万台机器人。富士康可能继续利用机器人取代员工，仅在昆山，富士康就裁减了6万名员工。

直到最近前不久，中国企业雇佣员工的成本还低于使用机器人。但是，不断上涨的用工成本、年青人对在工厂工作不感兴趣，促使部分企业在生产自动化方面投入巨资。
