第一，视频里的乔布斯坐在一个红色的巨大皮椅上，和会议室其他人的黑色办公椅完全不同。这个经典的红皮椅，或许很多果粉都有回忆——这是乔布斯当年参加《华尔街日报》AllThingsD大会，接受美国资深科技媒体人莫博士采访的片段。这个红椅子，现在莫博士还保留着。
第二，乔布斯在视频里面简单说的几句话，“找到新的渠道，让媒体获得付费营收”实际上来自于他2010年在D8大会上的采访剪辑。那年，他接受了莫博士的采访，谈到了如何让《纽约时报》在数字时代获得新营收。假视频中的几个片段都可以在那段采访中找到。单是这个证据，已经足够确定这个视频是彻头彻尾的假货。
第三，视频里一开始乔布斯是只露出半个身子，明显和左侧的三位座谈者不在一个画风。这是视频造假者将乔布斯的视频剪辑到另一段视频中的结果。等到乔布斯开口讲话的时候，视频拍摄角度迅速变成了乔布斯的特写，这意味着乔布斯对面还有一个人在拍摄。但是乔布斯正面的视频画面出现了前后分离的情况，这是PS的结果。
第四，乔布斯时期的苹果，以严格的保密文化著称，绝对不允许泄露任何涉及公司发展规划和商业计划的情况出现。苹果内部保密部门甚至会对不同部门有意放出假消息，以监测到底是哪个部门向媒体泄密。商业会议上录制视频的情况，在乔布斯时代的苹果，几乎是不可能的，更别提视频里两个机位同时拍摄。
