不给学位证并非“吓唬人”

去年，厦门工学院有6名学生在期末考中因涉嫌考试作弊遭到学校开除，此事也曾引发社会大讨论。有人认为学校下手太重，可能就此断送这些孩子的前途，应该给一个改过自新的机会。笔者倒觉得，这种盲目态度比作弊本身更可恨，助长了学生投机取巧和凡事抱有侥幸的思维定式。
考试作弊是诚信失效在校园里的体现之一，一旦放任此类不良风气发展，势必会逐渐丧失起码的规范意识和社会良知，将来走上社会，甚至可能变本加厉，目无法纪。
