据中国交通广播报道：来自交通运输部路网中心的信息：据广东省交通运输厅上报，今天上午9时29分，广东境内G4W2（清连高速）北行往湖南方向阳山路段（K2173+000）发生一起19辆车碰撞事故，7辆车辆着火，现初步核实，事故造成6人死亡，16人轻伤，目前该路段单向封闭，北行车辆已在就近收费站进行分流，路政、广东省春运办及高速交警正在现场处理。中国交通广播和路网中心将持续关注事故相关情况。
法制晚报讯（记者 唐宁）今天中午，《法制晚报》记者接到读者爆料称，大概是在今天中午11时至12时左右，广东清远杜步发生特大交通事故，重型散装水泥车下坡失控，导致几十车相撞，现场不停地冒出黑烟，还有明火燃烧，数辆轿车被撞毁。
随后，记者分别致电广东清远市新闻办和清远市公安局证实了此事，事故位于广东清连高速清远至阳山方向，阳山湟池路段，多车连环相撞。据知情人透露事故原因系水泥罐车刹车不到，但此说法并未得到官方证实，据清远市公安局新闻办相关负责人表示，目前清远市公安局的交警和民警们正在现场处理，具体原因尚待进一步查明。
