1月14日上午，上游新闻-重庆晨报记者（中国爆料热线：M17702387875@163.com）从四川达州市达川区公安分局获悉，1月7日晚，达川区发生一起命案，造成3人死亡、1人受伤。

值得注意的是，该案的犯罪嫌疑人和2名死者均为村干部。另外据警方透露，双方产生矛盾的原因系邻里纠纷造成的。
目前，犯罪嫌疑人莫某德已经被警方刑事拘留，案件正在进一步侦办中。
上游新闻-重庆晨报记者从达川区公安分局的情况通报中了解到，该案系一起因邻里纠纷引起的严重刑事犯罪案件。

其中，犯罪嫌疑人莫某德和2名死者的身份均为村干部。经公安机关汇同纪检部门调查，目前未发现三人在工作上产生矛盾或存在贪腐的行为。
据悉，唐某与犯罪嫌疑人莫某德是邻居，且莫某德是唐某外甥女婿，平时关系不和。
在此之前，莫某德与唐某德妻子汪某（莫某德舅妈）因误会发生口角，随后双方发生肢体冲突，致使汪某左上肢受伤，莫某德头部轻微伤。
事情发生后，公安机关介入调查，不过由于双方系近亲属邻里关系，双方亲友、熟人也多次主动组织协调解决这件事，但是都没有成功。
2017年1月7日，双方亲友唐某某再次组织莫某德和唐某协调化解矛盾。并在当晚，邀请双方在达川区一火锅店就餐，同行的还有同乡好友周某武、刘某、李某、黄某某（李某的妻子）等人共同参与劝解。
饭后，所有人又前往达川一家KTV继续唱歌喝酒。
期间，周某武、唐某某等人劝和好时说的话，让莫某德认为大家都在偏向唐某，所以拒绝和解。而周某武又和莫某德发生了争吵，矛盾也持续升级。
就在双方都在喋喋不休的时候，周某武顺势抄起一个啤酒瓶将莫某德头部打伤，莫某德持匕首将周某武捅伤。
随后，莫某德趁乱逃走，持刀前往平时关系不好的邻居谭某莲（系唐某四嫂、莫某德妻子的四舅妈）、王某桂家中行凶。

莫某德于1月8日凌晨2点，在警方重重设卡包围的情况下，向警方投案。
