备受追捧的3M口罩

随着近年来一波又一波雾霾接踵而至，防霾口罩在国内几乎成为必备单品，3M口罩也逐渐在国内受到追捧。据齐鲁晚报报道，去年12月16日至12月20日，中国出现大范围持续重度空气污染，而京东大数据显示，在这五天里，口罩销售额前五品牌中，进口品牌占了三个，其中3M为第一位。

或许正因如此，3M口罩在中国的销售情况，目前仍没有确切说法。一组网上流传的数据称，2013年中国防颗粒物口罩市场需求达到25.3亿元，其中3M包揽了25%的市场份额，在中国销售的口罩价值达到1亿美元以上——但该数据未得到3M公司方面的证实。

多轮裁员和剥离资产

正如上文所说，3M公司的整体业务包括5个部分，而口罩所在的安全防护业务板块并不是其中的大头。根据3M公司2016年第三季度财报显示，去年第三季度，5大板块的销售额为77.09亿美元，而安全防护业务板块为14.48亿，占比仅为18.7%。从去年前三季度总销售额来看，这一比例也只有19.1%。

而3M公司去年第三季度除了安全防护业务板块销售增加2%外，保健和消费品业务分别增加1.5%和2.9%，而电力能源业务则大幅下降8.1%，同时工业制造业务下降1.1%。

从地区来看，3M公司在拉丁美洲和加拿大的销售增长1.2%，但美国、欧洲、中东及非洲、亚太地区均出现了不同程度的下滑。

也就是说，尽管3M公司“什么都做”，但不是所有业务都像口罩业务一样做得好。

而从股价上看，自2009年触底反弹之后，3M公司股价从不到46美元升至如今的177美元（2011年年中有一次大跌）。但从2015年起，其股价涨势已不再那么稳定。

所以，如果你是长期投资者或许能赚不少，但短线投资就难说了。

近年来，3M公司一直在与“持续性的全球经济增长放缓”作斗争，去年7月，3M再度下调2016年的销售前景，主因该公司的电子和能源业务在第二季度内继续抑制其它业务的经济增长。

3M公司把此前的2016财年全年的每股收益预期8.10美元至8.45美元区间，下调至每股8.15美元至8.30美元区间。并预计有机销售额增长将为1%，此前预期为1%到3%之间。

而事实上，自2001年以来，业绩表现并不理想的3M公司已经多次试图通过裁员与资产剥离来重振业绩。

据新浪美股报道，2015年，3M裁员了1500人来应对业绩不佳，并且评估了数千个业务部门以供出售，包括一个在法国生产车牌车标的部门，和一个向图书馆提供服务的部门。2015财年，3M公司全球销售额为302.74亿美元，实现利润48.33亿美元。

此外，近年3M公司开展了一系列收购及整合交易。

2015年6月，3M公司以25亿美元的价格从KKR公司手中收购Capital Safety公司。后来，还对电子产品和能源两个业务进行了整合，以扩大规模效应。

另据彭博社报道，在保持3M公司债务A级评级的前提下，公司还有100亿美元的贷款空间，这意味着，公司有足够的钱在市场上进行收购。3M领导也表示，2017年会优化投资资产，也会考虑利用更多杠杆（负债）收购优秀资产。
