区文管所专家表示，巴国柳叶剑在永川很少出现，之前只在朱沱出土过这种剑。
老宅翻修时发现两把古剑
彭波住在南大街代家店，1月18日上午，自家修房子时，他从老房子的石柜下发现了两把古剑。“当时两把剑和很多铁质农具、碗等杂物放在一起。”彭波说，刚把剑拿出来时，剑身上有些淡绿色的锈，用抹布蘸了点水擦拭干净以后，剑便有了些色泽。
只是剑在发现过程中，受了一点小磨损，剑身有一块凹陷的地方呈现出金黄色。这两把剑长55厘米，两头窄中间宽，最宽处约5厘米，最窄处约2厘米，重约0.5公斤。剑体呈蓝绿色，中间有些地方呈灰黑色，刀刃比较锋利，剑身上疑有老虎形状的图腾。
“我爷爷的爷爷就曾住在这个老房子里，但几辈人从没有提起过这把剑，因此我也不知道这剑究竟是哪里来的。”彭波说，老房子大概有上百年的历史了，在爷爷那辈曾翻新过房子的墙，但里面的东西从来没动过。
古剑或为战国时期巴国柳叶剑
据彭波父亲讲述，他们家所住地方名叫七家坪，当地有一个传说，即在这里居住的人家不能超过七户，一旦超过，就会发生不测。“也许是这个传说，祖辈们把剑拿来镇宅。”彭波说，他们家好几代人都是农民，他猜测可能是某位祖辈种地时挖到剑，然后带回家。
“起初我发现这剑时也没当回事，后来无意中跟朋友聊起，他们看了剑后告诉我说这剑可能有些来头。”彭波打算把这两把剑好好保存着，然后传给下一代。
重庆古玩界相关专家表示，这可能是战国时期的巴国柳叶剑。专家称，巴国柳叶剑是川渝等附近地区独有的古剑，之前重庆涪陵等地也挖掘出了一些柳叶剑。这种剑一般分为匕首和长剑两种，由于战国时期冶炼技术有限，柳叶剑大多呈匕首长短，有些长一点的约40多厘米。而这把永川发现的柳叶剑是较长型，在古玩界业内大致能值五万左右的价格，而匕首型的一般值一两万。
若是文物应上交至相关部门
之所以判断该剑可能为柳叶剑，有以下几个原因：
一是剑的重量和巴国柳叶剑吻合，青铜所铸，铜离子在历经千年后会流失，因此拿起来会比较轻。
二是剑身呈黑色的地方为黑漆古，黑漆古是由于古铜长期存放在潮湿的地方，其表面生成的一层极稳定的保护薄膜，重庆地区潮湿，剑身有黑漆古出现是合乎常理的。
三是剑有一小块破损的地方所裸露出来的青铜颜色很纯正，当时的青铜大多都是呈黄金的颜色。
“古时巴人擅战，这把剑刀刃上有些小缺口兴许就是因为打仗所致。
总之，从剑的外形、白虎图腾、以及以上种种特征显示，它可能是柳叶剑。但具体价值和意义，还待进一步考证。”专家表示。
记者咨询了区文管所副研究员王昌文，他告诉记者，巴国柳叶剑在永川发现很少，这种剑形似柳叶，之前只在朱沱出土过。“这种剑不容易出现，但我没看到实物，不敢轻易下结论。”王昌文表示，这种古剑的价值不能轻易判断，如果是文物，应根据文物保护法，上交到相关部门。
