　　今日军报刊发记述张大权之子张平的文章《父亲的影子，我的样子》，写他追随父亲的脚步，从一个新兵到副团级军官长达24年的历程，披露了张大权牺牲后他与母亲痛苦的场景。

　　老山主峰第一个插旗的人

　　2016年4月18日，军报刊发《你的样子，我前进的方向》的报道，称张大权是老山战役中第一个冲上老山主峰插旗的人，也是距我们最近一场战争中血性指挥员的杰出代表。

　　在云南麻栗坡县境内，有一处著名的现代战场——老山。八十年代，我军在这里对越南进行了长达十年之久的边境防御作战。

　　更多的还是幸福。因为那是自出生以来，张平与父亲相处最长的一段时光。张大权给儿子讲故事，做木头枪，还告诉儿子，做人要诚信、勇敢、善良、重义。

　　一年后的一天晚上，难得和家人一起吃饭的张大权，接到紧急通知，匆匆忙忙地赶去开了一个会，第二天就把妻儿送上了回老家的火车。分别前，父亲与张平约定，春节一定回家，修修家里的老房子，给他和妹妹带好多好多的礼物，还要教张平做木枪，抓坏人……

　　然而，这一切都成了无法实现的遗憾。

　　张大权牺牲噩耗传来，范华敏当场晕倒，张平哭天喊地才把母亲唤醒。两天后，母子俩到部队参加庆功会，一个咬牙紧握勋章，一个流泪捧着遗像。范华敏强忍心痛，拭去张平的泪滴：“你是一级战斗英雄的儿子，怎么可以哭鼻子？要像你父亲那样，做个顶天立地的男子汉！”

　　18岁那年，张平向家人提出报名参军，大家都沉默不语，爷爷奶奶更是反对。入伍当晚，母亲把自己关在屋子里，默默流泪。

　　当班长、深造、提干，走在军旅的每一步，张平的军官之路并不平坦。1996年，张平如愿以偿，来到了父亲生前所在的连队，成了父亲的兵。1998年，张平因表现突出提干。他在排长任上干了4年，才被提拔为副政治指导员，之后的晋升也是规规矩矩。然而，他的履历却很出彩。
