1月14日凌晨，崔永元发微博爆料称，中国科协每年砸两千万的果壳网，力推的主力选手@飞雪之灵，原来这选手生生把科普做到了中国农业大学女学生的床上。

通过微博搜索发现，“飞雪之灵”的微博认证是“果壳网科普作者”，而且，其于14日晚些时候对崔永元的微博作出了回应。
飞雪之灵称，其之前犯的错已承认并且道歉了，但不接受造谣、夸张以及夹带私货的指控。
他表示，自己未与那位女生发生关系；女生“退学”是造谣；“黑料”中的很多内容是被断章取义和夸张过。
关于崔永元发微博的原因，他表示，是因为崔在与其的转基因争论中落败，而在此泄私愤。

追根究底，崔永元和飞雪之灵的矛盾还是因为在转基因方面的立场不同。
崔永元是坚定的反转基因主义者，曾大街小巷流窜调查，还亲赴日本进行转基因市场调研。此外，崔永元赴美国拍摄的调查转基因纪录片获得大量浏览和转发。
而飞雪之灵曾发观《追查转基因水稻》的随想(央视《新闻调查》中某期节目)微博，内容中提到“崔永元那部不靠谱的‘纪录片'。
其还曾讽崔永元是“良心”的反转战士，并多次就崔永元转发过的一条关于“农药废渣盐”的报道进行“科普”，讽刺崔永元不具备基本的化学常识。
此外，其对媒体拿崔永元拍摄的反转基因纪录片与柴静的《穹顶之下》相提并论是对柴静的侮辱。

后来，崔永元在微博置顶一条人肉信息，被人肉者正是飞雪之灵，信息中包含其真实姓名、籍贯、出生年月日、学历、职业以及邮箱信息等。此举显示了二者的矛盾之深。

崔永元在微博中提及飞雪之灵欺骗女大学生上床一事，一位网友曾就此事进行中立介绍。
该网友表示，其从一开始便在追踪飞雪之灵欺骗女学生上床一事，此事可能是真的，而且不乏有其他为之献出身体的女生。

事发后，飞雪之灵曾就此事进行道歉，表示不回避所犯之错，已对当事人表达了歉意和悔恨。并表示，其今后会带着歉意去弥补一切。

而崔永元之所以对果壳网深恶痛绝，骂其是藏污纳垢之地，或许也与其反转基因一事有关。其中，果壳网与“科普中国”共建的流言百科发布的“2014年度十大科技谣言”榜单中，崔永元的转基因纪录片名列榜首。
