　　2017年1月18日，广东省佛山市中级人民法院公开开庭审理了武汉钢铁（集团）公司原党委书记、董事长邓崎琳受贿一案。佛山市人民检察院派员出庭支持公诉，被告人邓崎琳及其辩护人到庭参加诉讼。

　　佛山市人民检察院指控：2000年至2015年，被告人邓崎琳利用担任武汉钢铁（集团）公司党委常委、副书记、书记、副总经理、总经理、董事长等职务上的便利，为他人在业务开展、工程承揽、职务晋升等事项上谋取利益，直接或者通过其亲属非法收受他人给予的财物，共计折合人民币5539.771588万元。提请以受贿罪追究邓崎琳的刑事责任。

　　庭审中，检察机关出示了相关证据，邓崎琳及其辩护人进行了质证，控辩双方充分发表了意见，邓崎琳进行了最后陈述，当庭表示认罪悔罪。

　　人大代表、政协委员、新闻记者及社会各界群众五十余人旁听了庭审。
