“政事儿”统计，十八大以来落马的一百多名省部级官员中，有13人“卡”在了年关上，在春节来临前夕，他们有的被宣布调查，有的被断崖式降级。
2017：甘肃常务副省长腊月十四落马
今年春节前，有一名省部级官员被调查——甘肃省原常务副省长虞海燕。
1月11日，农历腊月十四，虞海燕被宣布接受组织调查。此时，中央巡视组对甘肃展开的巡视“回头看”才结束5天。
公开履历显示，虞海燕前后共计在酒钢工作了20年，离开企业转入政坛后，曾任天水市委书记、甘肃副省长、兰州市委书记等职，去年11月起担任甘肃省常务副省长。走上甘肃常务副省长岗位1个多月，就被调查。
记者发现，2013年以来，不断有人发布实名举报信，所反映的问题多与虞海燕在酒钢的工作经历有关，称虞海燕借调整干部之机敛财，还与民营企业老板过从甚密为其输送利益等。
署名为“周立新”的举报人称，虞海燕与酒泉钢铁公司原董事长、党委原副书记冯杰案有牵连。
冯杰曾是虞海燕的继任者，2011年虞海燕离开酒钢后，冯杰接替他出任酒钢董事长。2015年10月，因涉嫌受贿罪，冯杰已被逮捕。
2016：除夕前半月接连处理9“贪官”
2016年2月7日，除夕。记者统计，此前半月，9名省部级官员接连被处理，其中2人被调查，另7人被断崖式降级。
被宣布调查的两名省部级官员分别是广东原副省长刘志庚、国家统计局原局长王保安。
刘志庚2月4日（腊月二十六）被宣布调查时，距离除夕只有3天。

中纪委之后查明，刘志庚存在“纵容、默许亲属利用其职务上的影响谋取私利，搞权色交易，挥霍浪费公共财产”、“干预和插手土地用途调整等事项”等一系列问题。
记者注意到，刘志庚曾主政东莞，担任过东莞市委书记。曾要求中国公安部门“严打”“黄赌”，针对充当“保护伞”的干部“查出一个严惩一个”。不过随后不久又强调“扫黄不能矫枉过正”，要求“各镇把握好度……不要扫荡式每家都去查”。
去年12月，刘志庚被因涉嫌受贿罪提起公诉。
国家统计局原党组书记、局长王保安则于2016年1月26日（腊月十七）被宣布调查。1月26日当天下午，王保安还亮相在经济形势通气会现场，称“索罗斯唱空中国经济的言论仅是一家之言”，这句论断刚被媒体报道，就传来其被调查的消息。
王保安被调查8个月后，中纪委通报了立案审查结果。记者发现，在王保安的问题清单中，中纪委采用了多个新表述，“毫无政治信仰”，“在重大问题上发表违背中央精神的言论”，“道德沦丧，大搞权色、钱色交易”等。由此，王保安成为落马“老贪官”中的“道德沦丧第一人”。
在这个腊月里，还有7人被“断崖式降级”，分别是：四川原省长魏宏，湖北省原省委常委、组织部部长贺家铁，江西省政协原党组成员、副主席刘礼祖，广西壮族自治区政协原党组成员、副主席刘志勇，中国农业银行原行长张云，东风汽车公司原党委副书记、董事、总经理朱福寿，云南省委原常委、秘书长曹建方。
跟刘志庚落马同一天，魏宏、贺家铁分别被降为副厅级非领导职务、正厅级非领导职务。
中纪委当时通报，魏宏“在自身存在严重违纪问题的情况下，对党不忠诚、不老实，不珍惜组织多次给予的教育挽救机会，严重违反政治纪律、组织纪律，对抗组织审查”；贺家铁“身为党的高级领导干部，特别是担任中央巡视组副组长期间，严重违反政治纪律和政治规矩，泄露巡视工作秘密”。

反腐大片《打铁还需自身硬》披露，魏宏曾与关在看守所的资阳市原市委书记李佳串供。
记者发自去年9月9日的《“美女市委书记”卷起的官场巨浪》一文，“解密”过李佳其人。魏宏与李佳曾是上下级关系，两人在四川省委组织部共事11年。多位四川政界人士接受“政事儿”采访时说，两人在共事时过从甚密。得益于魏宏，李佳曾在两年间“三级跳”，由省委组织部干部一处处长，升为正厅局级官员。
刘礼祖、刘志勇两人，都是在1月22日（腊月十三）这一天，被分别免去江西省政协副主席、广西省政协副主席职务。
一周后，中纪委于1月29日（腊月二十二）通报，刘礼祖因严重违纪，受到开除党籍处分，降为科员；刘志勇也因严重违纪，降为正厅级非领导职务。
张云、朱福寿、曹建方也是在1月29日（腊月二十二）这一天，因严重违纪被宣布降级。
张云受到留党察看二年、行政撤职处分，由中国农业银行按部门副职以下（不含部门副职）安排工作；朱福寿受到开除党籍、行政撤职处分，由东风汽车公司按部门副职以下（不含部门副职）非领导职务安排工作。
曹建方也受到开除党籍处分，降为副处级非领导职务。
2015：腊月二十八、二十九连拿两“贪官”
2015年除夕是2月18日。此前一天，当年2月17日（腊月二十九），江西省政协原副主席许爱民被开除党籍，并被断崖式降级，从副省级降为副处级非领导职务。
中纪委当时通报称：许爱民身为党的高级领导干部，“利用职务上的便利或影响，为女儿、女婿在公务员录用和职务晋升方面谋取利益；滥用职权，造成国有资产重大损失；弄虚作假，骗取‘中国陶瓷艺术大师称号’荣誉”。
记者注意到，许爱民的这个“中国陶瓷艺术大师”称号，跟中国政协原副主席苏荣有莫大关联。
许爱民曾主政景德镇10年，先任市长后任市委书记。苏荣2007年起任江西省委书记之初，对景德镇的发展很不满意，在会议中数次批评许爱民，还喊话“不换思想就换人”。许爱民四处托关系，最终跟苏荣妻子、被称为“于姐”的于丽芳搭上了关系，开始走“夫人路线”。
许爱民的“夫人路线”很“奏效”，苏荣对他的态度大为改变。2011年，许爱民调任江西省中国国家发展改革委员会主任。苏荣当时力排众议，主导了此次任命。
记者注意到，就在许爱民被处理的前一天，也就是当年2月16日（腊月二十八），浙江省政协原副主席、党组副书记斯鑫良被宣布调查。
被宣布调查时，斯鑫良退休已有两年。据报道，退休前，斯鑫良在政商界混得“游刃有余”，退休后，更是成了杭州政商圈里的“活动家”。他还曾介绍同乡富商楼忠福，跟令计划夫人谷丽萍“合作”。
去年12月，斯鑫良已因受贿罪，被判处有期徒刑13年，法院查明，其受贿金额达1955.442万元。
记者统计，2015年春节前落马的省部级“老贪官”还有一人——甘肃省人大常委会副主任、党组副书记陆武成。
陆武成是“甘肃”首贪官，当年1月23日（腊月初四）被宣布调查。
陆武成曾主政兰州四年，大搞旧城区改造及新城区建设。有媒体报道称，当地百姓用“坑坑洼洼路无成”，形容他主政兰州时的政绩，大街小巷被挖得乱七八糟。陆武成还被曝奢侈，曾用金制餐具招待客人。
去年11月，陆武成也因受贿罪，被判处有期徒刑十二年零六个月，其受贿金额达1626.6155万元。
