而从首艘中国国产航母来看，目前青岛已建有一座航母基地。最近有媒体报道，该基地正在辽宁舰使用的码头附近建造第二个航母码头。此外今年1月辽宁舰航母编队完成跨海域远航任务后，也在当月13日到达青岛航母基地。
