中国驻越南大使馆：敦促越方严厉打击索要小费行为

　　中新网南宁2月16日电  (记者 杨陈 蒋雪林)针对境内外备受关注的“中国公民遭越南边防人员殴打”事件，中国驻越南使馆16日在接受中新网记者书面采访时表示，将继续通过外交渠道向越方交涉，敦促越方加强内部管理，严厉打击个别人员索要“小费”等行为。

　　据媒体报道，2月7日，中国公民谢某及其母亲、未婚妻3人经越南芒街口岸回国时，被越南边检人员索要小费，其中谢某被越南边防人员殴打。经广西东兴市人民医院检查诊断，确定谢某有3根肋骨骨折，另有至少1根肋骨不完全骨折，多处软组织挫伤。

　　中国驻越南使馆表示，上述事件对谢某造成严重伤害，引发社会关注。事件发生后，该使馆多次向越南中国外交部提出严正交涉，对越方有关人员的暴行表示严重关切和强烈不满。要求越方切实重视此案，立即彻查并依法严惩肇事者，向伤者道歉并赔偿损失，及时向中国驻越南使馆通报调查处置进展，并立即采取有效措施避免类似事件再次发生。

　　中国驻越南使馆在采访中介绍，越南中国外交部已表示越方高度重视该事件，相关部门正对该事件开展调查并将依据事实进行处理。中国驻越南使馆将继续做越方工作，切实维护中国公民正当合法权益。

　　近年来，中越民间交往人数日渐增多，中国公民在越南出入境时不时被曝出被刁难或索要小费等情形。

　　对此，中国驻越南使馆表示，中国公民出入境时应注意维护自身利益，如被索要小费应予以拒绝，如果遇到刁难，希望尽量收集证据，如索贿人员相关信息，并及时向中国驻越南使馆或中国驻胡志明市总领馆反映。该使馆也将继续通过外交渠道向越方交涉，敦促越方加强内部管理，严厉打击个别人员索要“小费”等行为。
