Reference news, February 19, local media said the Council of graduate schools (CGS), according to a recent study, the graduate schools of the United States received almost half of the applications from international students. According to Asia Times Online reported on February 13, in autumn 2016 graduate programs (master's or doctoral degree) in nearly 1.8 million applicants, 47%, or 838,627 is the future of the international students to submit. American graduate school received 667,389 applications for students from Asia, accounting for 79% of the total number of applications for international students.

Reported that the United States is the first choice for many Chinese and Indian students study abroad. 37% of China and India has the world's population, but accounted for 67% of the American graduate schools of all international applications. 320,486 applications had been submitted for Chinese students, accounting for 38% of the total Indian students submitted 246,951, total 29%.
