中国驻缅甸大使馆24日通报，在中国驻缅甸大使馆工作组和缅甸警方的通力协作下，被围困的中方员工已于23日下午安全离开现场。据悉，目前5名带头肇事者已被缅甸警方扣押。
中国驻缅甸大使馆正继续与缅方交涉，要求缅方采取有效措施，尽快恢复工厂正常生活生产秩序，依法惩处肇事者，切实维护中国公民和中资企业在缅合法权益。
[两次罢工 缅甸籍工人提出这些要求]
遭到破坏的“杭州百艺纺织制衣有限公司（缅甸）”位于仰光兰达亚工业区，在缅甸设厂并注册已有3年，共有10名中国籍员工和500名左右缅籍员工。

陈红卫说，其实从1月30日起，工厂一直处于被占状态，罢工人员吃住都在工厂里。他们不允许其他员工工作，不允许工作人员去仓库取制作服装辅料，还限制中国籍员工离开工厂。

陈红卫和车间主任李某都说，中国籍员工一直保持克制，从没还手，因为对方动手的基本都是女员工，而男员工有可能在背后唆使，中国员工避免给对方留下把柄。
设备维护员周某告诉记者，数百名罢工人员从22日晚间开始打砸工厂外面监控设备，23日早晨一些罢工人员戴上了口罩，随即发生了打砸工厂宣传栏、成衣面料仓库、中方员工食堂的事件。
随后，罢工人员还到中方员工宿舍洗劫行李箱，劫走一些贵重物品，并砸毁厂内汽车数辆。按照被困中国员工描述，男员工宿舍内的财物基本被洗劫一空，但没有发生直接肢体冲突，女员工基本没有财物损失。
