该乐天超市中多数商品所谓的“促销价格”，实际就是原先的价格，而商家标示的“原价”都是虚构的。如2017年1月20日的“福临门水晶米5Kg/袋”，标示“原价52.90现价29.90元/袋降价期间01/20-02/02”。经查，该商品此次促销活动的原价为29.90元。

对于乐天超市的假促销行为，北京市中国国家发展改革委员会根据《价格法》等相关法律规定，开出了50万元的行政处罚，并对乐天超市做出警告，责令其改正“利用虚假的或者使人误解的价格手段，诱骗消费者或者其他经营者与其进行交易”的价格违法行为。
