Wuhan police equipped with Chinese-made electromagnetic rifles against drones hacked | none | | police rifles _ news

Spoke of future weapons, science fiction film often appears in a scene--police took a very cool rifle, a flying target. Now, this "science fiction weapons" has been on China's police equipment. Target is not a human, but drones.

Electromagnetic rifles now influence abroad, the times of London reported 15th Chinese weapons. The times said that China, as the world's largest producer of commercial UAV, the domestic smart entrepreneurs to get up to speed quickly, counter-UAV developed to assist security rifle. Last week, the Wuhan police first used the new Chinese-made weapons.

According to the Yangtze evening news recently reported, Wuhan police display their equipment the latest China-made "electromagnetic rifle". In the League opener last week, an unidentified drones into the event, seriously interfered with the game. Subsequently, the Wuhan police pulled out their new gear--1 about 1 meter long, silver-gray UAV counter gun, hand gun to the other "shot down". On game day, 6 Wuhan police use the gun to expel the approaching drone.

Of course, the drone was not being beaten into pieces, just slowly landing on the ground. British financial times International (International Business Times), this weapon works by transmitting at 2.4 Hz electromagnetic interference between the 5.8 GHz wave, break contact between remote control devices and drones. Because most of the unmanned aerial vehicle remote control is in the frequency range between.

According to the Yangtze evening news agency, China's unmanned aerial vehicle enthusiasts growing drone disorderly flight became frequent and seriously affects the order of events. The opening of the Wuhan police, "Tsim is also called" drones against guns, at a distance of 1000 meters, forcing the long-range low-altitude drone in a short time dropped, the return operator or a steady decline, and "control zone" flying drones and effective control. Wuhan police currently comes with only one drone to counter gun, worth as much as 250,000 yuan.

In the Wuhan Marathon next month, police will use this kind of equipment along the track.

In addition to the local police in Wuhan, China's airports also need anti-UAV rifles to "escort". On January 15 this year, Zhejiang Xiaoshan airport airspace with an unmanned machine broke, and nearly caused an accident. On May 28 last year, there were drones in Chengdu shuangliu airport broke into the penalty area, leading the East runway of the airport closed for 1 hour and 20 minutes, 55 flights delayed as a direct result.

To ultimately solve the problem of UAVs, is not enough to rely on rifles, countries need to take new measures in laws and regulations.

During the two sessions, unmanned aerial vehicle management is another focus of the meeting, members discussed, surging, according to news reports, China's Liang Zhiyi deputies recommended the establishment of real-name registration system for unmanned. Liang Zhiyi said in an interview, no one machine is used for purposes such as photography, video, but still has the potential to be misused to commit the crime, combat terrorism and safeguard stability, security, security, counter-narcotics and other areas of potential and real risks to security challenges. Therefore, he proposed to build real-name registration system for unmanned, and strengthen supervision.

In January 2017, China's Ministry of public security announced on its website that the law on public security administration punishments (Amendment draft for public comment), to seek the views of the community, which provides in article 46th adds: in violation of State regulations, flying at a low altitude UAV, powered parachute, General Aviation, aviation sports equipment, 5th to 10th over detention; the plot of, 10th to 15th over detention.

In China, many countries have faced similar problems in the world, Poland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom is seen as a result of unmanned aerial vehicles into dangerous situations. In the UK, the company developed a large counter-UAV system (AUDS).

According to the civil aviation resource net previously reported, the UK this is known as a large system within 6 miles of the reconnaissance drones, using infrared cameras to track it, then block it with an operator to block the radio signals between the orbits. The whole process takes 8-15 seconds and has experienced a 400-hour official tests.

"AUDS can effectively control the drone and force it to safely landed at the airport. "AUDS developer Mark? Radford said the system could also help track drones of airport users, and provides radar or video evidence for legal prosecution.
