扬子晚报讯 （通讯员 叶方龙 记者 范晓林） 17日，南京六合区程桥街道竹程社区在土地平整中，意外发现一口古井，据当地六合文广局文管人员初步勘察，该古井建于明成化年间，距今已533年。
扬子晚报记者赶到现场时，发现这口老古井在村口一处废弃农田里，显得有些孤独，古井周边堆放着许多淤泥，记者看到，古井周边农田正在进行大规模平整，附近还有大型机械正在施工作业。
竹程社区负责人告诉记者，前几天，施工人员开着推土机在这片地块进行平整作业时，发现这里有个土堆，工作人员停下推土机，发现土堆上面盖着许多树枝，便将其掀开，竟发现树枝下面藏着一口老古井，社区负责人赶到后，发现古井上两个对称的园形穿孔，井壁上还刻有文字，经过用水清洗，上面裸露出“大明成化二十年义井”等文字，社区立马向街道报告。
程桥街道文体中心主任倪克祥告诉记者，街道立即邀请六合区文广局文管科工作人员前来鉴定，文管人员勘察古井上文字后认定：大明成化二十年即公元1484年，据此推断，这口古井距今已有533年了。
当地村民告诉记者，他们是喝着这口古井水长大的，童年时，他们就在古井旁玩耍，听老人们讲，多少年前，当地有几个大家族，几个村子的村民就合用这口古井的水，当地人因为合用一口井，所以，相处很融洽。20多年前，附近村庄的村民大都搬迁走了，许多村民在县城或集镇上买房居住，这口老古井渐渐被一些年轻人淡忘了。
六合区程桥街道文体中心主任倪克祥表示，街道和辖区文广局已经商量好，等这片农田平整改造一结束，他们将结合新农村建设，把古井保护与美丽乡村一块开发起来。
