　　3月17日上午10时许，南康区十八塘乡樟坊村发生一起命案。经我局缜密调查和深入取证，现将有关案件侦办情况通报如下：

　　当日上午 9时左右，在拆除完犯罪嫌疑人明经国（男，1955年出生，十八塘乡樟坊村村民）邻居明某炳、明某福两户的“空心房”后，挖机停止了作业。卓宇 （男，1970年出生，十八塘乡人大主席）和4名村干部前往周边其他地方踏看待拆“空心房”情况。此时，明经国拿着镰铲和其小儿子明某龙气冲冲赶来。看到 挖机停在自家“空心房”旁，明经国误以为是要拆除自家房子，当即抡起镰铲将挖机玻璃砸碎。卓宇和村干部见状上前加以阻止，并警告明经国说“你这是故意损坏 财物，我们要报警”。这时，明经国情绪十分激动。趁卓宇正在接打电话，明经国突然举起镰铲砸向卓宇头部，致卓宇当即倒地。在场的村干部迅速上前制止，明经 国挥舞镰铲冲出村干部的阻拦，继续用镰铲击打卓宇头部并趁乱逃离现场。卓宇被送至区第一人民医院抢救，因伤势过重于下午14时左右死亡。

　　案发后，公安民警第一时间赶到现场，展开调查和追捕。3月18日上午10时左右，民警在十八塘乡水源村一山岭发现逃窜中的明经国并迅速对其进行围捕。明经国在逃脱无望之际，捡起石块击打头部企图自杀，导致头部出血。

　　将明经国抓获后，民警迅速送至就近的十八塘乡祥联医院进行伤口清理和包扎，并随即送往区第一人民医院做CT检查，确诊为头皮创伤。3月18日晚，明经国被公安机关依法刑事拘留。

　　目前，案件正在进一步办理中。
