　　记者20日从韶关市政府新闻办获悉，今年2月中旬，在发现新丰县练溪托养中心存在有托养人员死亡的情况之后，韶关市公安、民政、卫计和新丰县相关方面组成专门工作组迅速开展调查，该托养中心被取缔，托养对象也已妥善安置，相关责任人的调查追责正在进行中。

　　据通报，根据工作组调查，发现练溪托养中心不具备托养条件，民政部门已于3月2日正式取缔该托养中心，对现有733名托养对象进行了妥善安置。 韶关市相关部门已对该托养中心负责经营管理的四名主要责任人采取强制措施，正在对托养对象的死亡人数和死亡原因组织深入调查。韶关市纪委对涉嫌违纪违规的 公职人员正在开展组织调查。
