上午11点多，记者赶到事发地。现场位于净峰镇湖街十字路口，这里是当地最为繁华的街区，人流和车流量大。路旁简易搭建的棚屋里，死者已被安放在棺木里。
男死者陈某国，27岁，净峰镇莲峰村沙塔自然村人士。据死者的亲戚介绍，当天凌晨1点左右，他们才陆陆续续知道这事。
死者亲戚陈先生和当地村民介绍，平时陈某国做泥水工，早年还在十字路口这边摆过水果摊。
