据南华早报报道，香港知名武侠小说家黄易周三（4月5日）中风并且于医院病逝，享年65岁。黄易原名黄祖强，曾获“翁灵宇艺术奖”，亦曾任香港艺术馆助理馆长。其著名作品如《寻秦记》及《大唐双龙传》广为人知，更被翻拍成电视剧。

黄易早年毕业于香港中文大学艺术系，自小爱看武侠小说，并于少时开始投稿，写出了生平首部武侠作品《破碎虚空》，顺利获刊载，至此开展了他的作家生涯。他于1989年退隐大屿山专心创作，后来因不甘心武侠小说市场就此没落，决定成立“黄易出版社”。其中1994年出版的《寻秦记》及1996年出版的《大唐双龙传》更备受热捧，并随后被翻拍成电视剧，当中角色如项少龙，寇仲，徐子陵均成了不少香港人的“集体回忆”。
