　　美国《外交学者》网站4月6日援引中国媒体的报道称，这艘新军舰被命名为“六盘水”舰，舷号“514”。它将在中国人民解放军海军的南海舰队服役，并且专门实施反潜战行动。

　　报道称，这艘1500吨级反潜战护卫舰（指定类型056A）安装了拖曳声呐的高端反潜设备，兼具防空对海作战能力。
