据台湾《旺报》网站4月19日报道，据不完全统计，114位华人富豪中，就拥有164架公务机，最爱买飞机的是北京人，上海为因应年年成长的私人飞机“贵客”起降需求，还可能建造一个专用机场。
在大陆被称“公务机”的私人飞机，成本可不小，除了飞机本身的维护、专业服务托管费用外，每次航行都要付航路费、起降费、油费、停机费、放行费等，以厦门机场为例，光“停机费”，一个晚上就要1万元人民币。
胡润研究院报告显示，大陆富豪马化腾买了庞巴迪环球6000，而万达的王健林、阿里马云，以及香港富豪李嘉诚、李兆基等人都是买湾流g550，市价大约3亿元左右。
报道称，北京是公务机数量最多的地方，共有34架；以上海为领头的长三角地区，共有29架，去年上海机场的私人飞机起落量突破6千架次。
