　　央视网消息：近日，云南省元江国家级自然保护区内确认发现了中国濒危珍贵植物——火焰兰。这是继上世纪50年代初，植物学专家在元江干热河谷区域发现国内唯一的火焰兰之后，再次寻觅到火焰兰的踪迹。据介绍，火焰兰分布于中国云南元江和越南，火焰兰的花呈鲜红色，花序长度在50公分到70公分左右，因为盛开的时候在很远的地方就能看到，所以被称为“火焰兰”。而此次发现的火焰兰分布在云南地区，所以又被称为“云南火焰兰”。目前，云南火焰兰在云南地区的数量不足10株，被植物学专家称为植物中的“大熊猫”。
