5月8日，百度游戏宣布更名为多酷游戏，百度已将该业务拆分出去独立运营，接盘方为多酷基金。
锦州新华龙钼业股份有限公司（603399，新华龙）的公告披露，多酷基金与B.D.Mobile Telecommunications Limited等相关方签署了《游戏业务出售协议》。多酷基金以11.86亿元人民币受让百度移信网络技术（北京）有限公司的100%的股权，及其通过控制协议控制的4家协议控制实体的股权，即百度游戏。

公开资料显示，多酷基金，即宁波梅山保税港区多酷股权投资合伙企业(有限合伙)，成立于2016年10月25日，是由梵安赐投资管理(上海)有限公司(以下简称“梵安赐”)发起设立，新华龙和嘉兴厚全股权投资合伙企业(有限合伙)共同参与的基金。
其中,梵安赐以货币方式出资10万元，占出资总额的0.02%；新华龙以货币方式出资15000万元，占出资总额的28.3%；嘉兴厚全以货币方式出资38000万元，占出资总额的71.68%。
根据宁波多酷合伙协议的约定，多酷基金的存续期为长期，将在存续期内主要投资于游戏文化产业，包括但不限于国内、国外的优质游戏资产、游戏IP、游戏及文化相结合的衍生产品及资产等。
3月31日，百度提交给美国证券交易委员会的文件显示，百度已经将旗下移动游戏业务出售，受让方为两家公司。此前百度向澎湃新闻（www.thepaper.cn）回应称，百度游戏是百度“航母计划”的优良资产，未来双方将继续保持业务上的紧密联系，并将建立持续深度的合作。详细的信息会在交易正式完成交割后公布。
新华龙的公告显示，截至4月14日，百度项目还未完成最终交割，还存在对最终交易文件的修改，目前确定多酷基金受让百度游戏金额为11.99亿元。其中，多酷基金出资5亿元，银行融资6.86亿元。据披露，截至目前，多酷基金已募集完毕，基金总规模为5.301亿元。
新华龙的公告指出，多酷基金的投资范围和方向为投资游戏文化产业，百度游戏是国内主要游戏运营发行平台之一，通过与国内外数千家游戏研发商、开发商的良好合作，向用户提供多元化，全方位游戏并已汇聚了上亿游戏用户，具有比较稳定的现金流与利润增长。百度游戏符合多酷基金的投资和发展方向。多酷基金受让百度游戏后，将根据百度游戏的后续运营情况及市场的情况进行综合考虑，可能长期持有或者溢价出售。
外界分析，百度剥离移动游戏业务或与业务开展不力有关。
