AMD是一家在技术型的公司。不论是当年的双核四核之争，收购ATI构建GPU架构，还是大胆挺进ARM服务器领域，它都在业界树立了技术先导型的企业形象。
正因为如此，苏姿丰一直认为，最好的激励技术人员的方式莫过于让他们知道CEO也是他们中的一员。把技术与商业结合，并推出切实可行的解决方案，是苏姿丰为AMD设计的大方向。
王雪红：日薄西山的HTC再一次豪赌
在HTC江河日下之后，去年初，王雪红不得不重新出山，成为掌门人。
1997年，王雪红创立了HTC品牌，并一度成为智能手机的代言人，也造就了HTC当时的辉煌。但是随着智能手机的普及，HTC却与市场渐行渐远。
但自进入大陆市场以来，HTC一直采取的就是高举高打的高端策略，强调的是体验和品位。可惜的是，HTC在大陆推出的多款手机并没有给消费者留下深刻印象。高端市场，敌不过苹果三星，却难以放下身段，在低端市场让小米、华为荣耀等品牌抓到机会，迅速崛起。
导致了今天的HTC在智能手机市场上不去，又下不来的尴尬。去年，HTC发布了新品HTC One M9，这款与iPhone6很相似的手机，也并没有挽回市场的败局。
在今年MWC上，笔者在HTC展台看到了被HTC寄予厚望的HTC vive，这是王雪红希望打翻身仗的VR重点产品。王雪红表示，VR虚拟现实产品HTC Vive让全世界惊艳，将创造HTC的另一个5年。她还认为，虚拟现实及个人智能医疗也是未来新业务的重要发展方向。
不过，平心而论一家建立在硬件基础上的公司，最早布局智能手机的品牌，没有获得在智能手机上应得的市场地位，这是一次重大的失误。VR的核心已经不单纯是硬件设计，这场豪赌，确实可以延缓HTC落幕的时间，但周期为免过于长了点。
