1.谷歌苹果Facebook对于App Indexing的支持

谷歌对于App Indexing是大力推进的态度,它希望收集世界上所有的应用内数据,继续称霸它的搜索地位,Google的Mobile Friendly算法也是拥抱移动应用的态度。苹果利用OS优势,提供了本地的应用索引,数据更安全,垄断性更有理,它也为苹果的全局搜索(SpotLight)增加了体验。Facebook开源了App Links标准,希望大家公开App和Web的映射关系。

2.美国移动市场的几个基本数据

a)美国80%的智能手机使用时间都是5款APP(Forrest 2014)

a) 84%的网站有Android App, 88%的网站有iOS App

注:开启Deep Link意味着,谷歌搜索结果中可以直接打开这些应用。

c)开启了DeepLink的App,大多为电商和服装类App

4.我们需要什么样的DeepLink繁荣?

看完了美国市场,再回过头想想自己每天使用的手机,对于DeepLink到底有什么需求?大部分美国人都是实用几十款的App,而且80%的时间都是5款常用App。那么我们对于DeepLink有哪些刚需(Rigid Demand)呢?

a)搜索结果支持显示App内数据:

谷歌搜索,苹果本地搜索都有技术支持,是移动用户的重要场景。只要App提交这些内容给搜索巨头,场景就可以打通了。在一些电商和O2O的App,这种需求还是蛮大的,搜索引擎是为它们导流的重要方式。但是,目前App内数据在搜索引擎的SEO,并没完全展开,因为这里面包括搜索引擎的各种策略调整。另外,移动设备上的搜索也有自己的特点,搜索场景是分布在不同的App里面的,大家更加愿意打开美团搜打折,打开应用商店搜应用,打开地图软件搜地点。

这个需求可以演化出很多“打动人心”的故事,一个专注餐馆评论的App,能够方便集成不同第三方的地图服务,或者打车服务。一个新闻APP在产看一个热销产品的新闻时候,能够方便的集成第三方的产品购买,产品评论,折扣购买等服务。目前,所有这些场景的集成,都是使用直接嵌入第三方代码或SDK实现的,缺乏灵活性和智能性,集成的成本高。

总之,DeepLink会改变我们App生态的一些小格局,我也希望在系统和巨头的鼎力支持下,开拓出一片繁荣的景象,但是是怎么样的一种繁荣,我还看不清楚,但是值得让我们拭目以待。

PS. DeepLink解决的是打开应用的问题,那么没有安装App的情况下如何快速体验App呢?谷歌最新的App Streaming技术可以做到这一体验:App无需安装就可以试用。毕竟绝大部分的安装率都是非常低的,快速发现和试用这些App将是人们追求的方向。谷歌在3月中旬刚刚推出了几个App Streaming应用例子:手机可以通过虚拟桌面的方式试玩App,在网络条件允许的情况下,可以获得流畅的APP体验。其中原理之前在一篇文章介绍过,通过服务器端虚拟机实现的。

回归主题,DeepLink的商机不在技术实现,而在于平台和服务,DeepLink的繁荣不止在眼前的苟且,而在远方的田野。
