Robocall听起来有些陌生，但相信大家都遇到过，就是那种接通后先是有一段机器的声音推销理财产品、贷款业务等，然后如果你听下去并按照指示做了，就会转接到人工服务。这样的电话通常都是骚扰电话，而这种类似的骚扰电话近日在美国日益猖獗，因此，上述科技巨头们达成联盟，坚决打击Robocall。
联盟由美国的工信部FCC牵头，FCC很早就希望通过和大公司合作，使用技术手段来防止电话营销和大公司的骚扰，也很早就鼓励手机厂商和电信运营商合作安装防骚扰的软件，但像AT&T这样的电信公司对此并不积极，因此FCC便号召各大公司联合起来，共同打击骚扰电话。FCC表示，到10月19号联盟会出个切实可行的防骚扰电话的方案。而我们已经知道，在苹果最新的iOS10系统中，已经加入了来电识别功能。
