中国青年报·中青在线记者向这一标准发起人之一、中国科学院软件研究所人机交互与智能信息处理实验室主任王宏安研究员证实了这一会议消息：由中科院软件研究所、中国电子技术标准化研究院和上海智臻智能网络科技股份有限公司(小i机器人)三家中国单位共同提出的“信息技术情感计算用户界面框架”在德国ISO/IEC JTC1/SC35会议上通过国际投票并获立项。
王宏安还告诉记者，该标准不仅是中国在“用户界面”领域第一个立项的国际标准项目，也是国际“用户界面”分委会第一个关于情感计算的标准项目，可以说填补了国内外该领域标准的空白。通俗一点说，人机情感交互将在全球范围内有一个统一的“话语体系”，即如何定义喜怒哀乐。

对于人工智能，人们似乎从不缺乏兴趣。不管是去年AlphaGo战胜围棋九段选手李世石，IBM宣布人工智能改善癌症诊断疗法，还是今年谷歌Master以60场完胜中国和日本韩三国顶尖围棋选手，以及机器人小度在《最强大脑》节目中战胜“鬼眼之才”王昱珩，很难再找出另一个能够如此抓人眼球的新兴科技。2017年，“人工智能”首次写入政府工作报告，更是引发人工智能新一波热潮。
不过一个随之而来的疑问也不断被拿出来讨论，那就是机器人能否具有像人类一样“微妙的情感思维”，像人一样“智能”——毕竟，AlphaGo只在计算速度上“赢了”，但在感觉、情感等方面，依然无法和人类相媲美。
人机情感交互的研究应此而生。
事实上，情感交互已经成为人工智能领域中的热点方向，其目的就是让人机交互变得更加自然。不过王宏安告诉记者，目前人机交互界面中的情感交互信息的处理方式多种多样，情感描述方式，情感数据获取和处理过程，情感表达方式等均缺乏统—的标准。这也是为何中国团队要提出一项新的标准。
此次立项的标准包括多个内容，涉及基本概念、情感交互过程、情感交互技术框架等方面给出规范性描述。后续还会根据需要对情感分类和表达、情感计算用户界面的功能接口、情感表达与呈现和情感数据集等制定更详细的标准。有了这些，未来人机交互机器人的应用与发展就大为可期：机器人将不再是冷冰冰的一个机器，而是可以分享、分担情绪的“有温度的机器人”。
王宏安说，随着计算机技术的不断发展，基于神经网络的深度学习成为可能，人工智能的应用也将越来越多。据他估计，情感计算机器人将在未来3到5年内出现一些开拓性的典型应用，并逐渐普及到人类生活中。
比如，对一场电影的观影调查，可以在整个电影过程中，通过情感计算机器人观测人的表情变化，来测试人类的兴奋点。情感计算机器人还可以检测驾驶员在行车中的状态，预防疲劳驾驶等危险状况。甚至在医疗领域，其也可以对自闭症等病人的情绪进行观测。
