特朗普正式就职之后，美国周五当日道琼斯工业指数上涨94.85点，涨幅0.48%，收盘时报收于19827.25点；标准普尔500指数涨7.62点，涨幅0.34%，报收于2271.31点；纳斯达克指数上涨15.25点，涨幅0.28%，报收于5555.33点。
与美国三大股指上升势头相反，中概股周五收盘股价大多下跌。阿里巴巴跌0.11%报收于96.06美元；百度跌1.5%报收于173.44美元；腾讯控股跌幅0.9%，报收于197.70美元。唯品会跌幅最高，达到3.11%，报收于10.58美元。
